True Blue

Blue was first synthetically produced by the ancient Egyptians over 6,000 years ago. This pigment was created by mixing ground limestone with sand and a copper-containing mineral. Rare to source, and expensive to make, blue was reserved for royal tomb paintings, and textiles. The use of the pigment continued to evolve over the centuries, but remained cost prohibitive until a French discovery in 1826. By then, the color was already synonymous with strength, fidelity, peace, and trust, representing the sky above us, and ocean at our feet.

I truly cannot find a better selection of words to describe this couple in love-

true blue.
